The dust collection system uses a patented design that controls the direction of air flow through the baghouse by positioning the gas inlet near the top of the pulse jet collector and directing a portion of the solids into a hopper below before they enter the filter bags. Compared to traditional baghouse systems, the dust load on the baghouse is reduced, the service life of the baghouse is extended, downtime due to maintenance is reduced, and a smaller unit and more compact installation can be selected.
Designed for the final stage of cleaning in dry particle screening and classification systems, this versatile dust collector is ideal for collecting fines from processed aggregates, manufactured sand, cement, lime, salt, fertilizers and a variety of other materials over a wide temperature range. The modular system is available in nine different standard sizes, as well as custom sizes to match the required number of filter bags and fabric surface area to airflow rates and dust loads.
Fabric pulse jet filtration systems are designed at the company’s headquarters in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, USA, to suit each individual installation. Dust collectors can be included as part of a complete classification system or can be retrofitted on site using systems from any manufacturer.
